Julia, her dad, and her mum sat together with the Bible in front of them. Julia's dad spoke.

"When Adam and Eve did what God told them not to do, they could not be friends with God anymore. They could no longer stay in the beautiful Garden that God had made for them because they had spoiled God's world by doing wrong. Ever since then, nobody has treated God properly, so all people deserve to be punished by God by being kept away from Him for ever. God still loved the people that He made, though, and so promised that someone would come who would be hurt by the devil but would win against the devil, so that people could be friends with God again. Do you know who that was?" "Jesus," replied Julia.

After talking about the Bible Story and talking to God, Julia and her dad went down to the beach. Her dad carried his fishing rod.
